GOING FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE IN THE USA
Going from a US high school to college or university in the United States is a simpler process than applying to a US post-secondary institution from outside of the country. US secondary school programs are designed to help students transition to American colleges and universities, providing the prerequisite courses and accreditation that local colleges and universities look for. In some states, colleges and universities can request the transcripts from your high school directly, making it even easier to transition from high school to college or university. Advisors and counselors at high schools in the US are very familiar with the requirements of US colleges and universities, and their help can be invaluable to international students looking to continue an education in the United States.

While graduating from a US secondary school does not guarantee admission to a US college or university, graduating from an American high school does provide a significant advantage in transitioning from high school to college or university in the US.
